Areas of Research
Mobile Intelligence has experience in three primary areas
of research, discussed briefly below. More detailed information about each
can be found by followign the links indicated.
- Robot Control Systems - Dr. MacKenzie
has extensive experience developing autonomous robot control software and
evaluating its utility, robustness and usability.
- Software Agents - Mobile Intelligence
has been developing and using software agent-based architectures with its
current DARPA projects. In addition, the control systems developed by Dr.
MacKenzie for Georgia Tech and Mobile Intelligence are software agen behavior-based
designs.
- Case-Based Reasoning - Mobile Intelligence
has applied case-based reasoning and design techniques to its current projects
to simplify complex user interfaces. Efforts have been made to build a subsystem
that can be reused in other projects.
